The most noticeable change was the increase of two points in Rob Gronkowski's overall rating for Tampa Bay Buccaneers tightend. In just two weeks, he's moved from an overall rating of 85 to an overall score of 89. The guy is certainly worthy of it. In the first two weeks of action, Gronk has already scored four touchdowns. He's also racked 12 receptions and 129 yards. Gronk has been in great form and I am confident that this won't be his last year of high ratings.
Tyrann Mathieu, Kansas City Chiefs safety is another name that has seen his popularity rise. After missing the start of Week 1 due to an positive COVID test Mathieu made his debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. It was a memorable debut as Honey Badger recorded two interceptions and one touchdown. Mathieu's Awareness rating and catch rating has increased by one point to 99 and 85, respectively. His overall score now stands at the 96th spot.
After a rebound in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Titans running back Derrick Henry saw some ratings altered, but still stands at a 96 overall. Henry's launch rating caught many people off guard as the majority of people believe he's one of the top running back in the league. With 182 rushing yards during Week 2 and three touchdowns in the game, he certainly showed his worth. Henry's receiving went up two points , compared to 64, but his break tackle, which was a surprise, dropped three points to a 92.
Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers halfback) is worth watching. He was injured with an injury to his hamstring against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. While injuries aren't usually a aspect in player ratings in Madden 22, it'll be interesting for Henry to replace him as the best back on Madden 22.
