8. Types of Category (Age - ex. Participant born in the year 1965 is 50 years old)
8.1. Amateur Category
(1) Young Adult age between 20-39 years (20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 years old)
(2) Senior age between 40-59 years (40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 years old)
(3) Honorary Senior age between 60-79 years (60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 years old)
(4) Honorary Senior age over 80 (80-84 years old, more 85 years old)
(6) Combined Age of 100 years (each competitor must be at least 40 years old)
(7) Combined Age of 110 years (each competitor must be at least 45 years old)
(8) Combined Age of 120 years (each competitor must be at least 50 years old)
(9) Combined Age of 130 years (each competitor must be at least 55 years old)
(10) Combined Age of 140 years (each competitor must be at least 60 years old)
(11) Combined Age of 150 years (each competitor must be at least 65 years old)
8.2. Professional Category (Men’s Single, Women’s Single, Men’s Double, Women’s Double, Mixed Double)
Ranking and bonus (Only for Professional Category)
First prize 10,000 Baht total
Second prize 5,000 Baht total
Third and fourth prizes 2,500 Baht each (double or triple get 2,500 Baht total)
(1) Ages 25-34 years
(2) Ages 35 years up (only Men’s Single, Men’s Double, Mixed Double)
Professional Team
Which include Men’s Single, Men’s Double, Mixed Double.
First prize 60,000 Baht total and second prize 30,000 Baht total.
9. Qualifications
(1) Competitor must be in good health and is 20 years of age or older.
(2) Each player is not permitted to participate in more than 2 categories and each player is only permitted to compete in one age combination.(Ex: the players can play in 50 -54 years old and combine age 100 years old but cannot compete in combine age 100 years old and 110 years old)
(3)The combine age category each player can participate 1 category only. (Ex: the players can play in 50 -54 years old and combine age 100 years old but cannot compete in combine age 100 years old and 110 years old)
(4)All the players can join the Professional Category.
(5) Former professional players are not permitted to participate the Amateur Category. (except men ex-national team age more than 45 years old and lady ex-national team age more than 40 years old can compete in Amateur Category)
(6) Participants must be in good physical health and should participate of their own free will. In case of an accident, which is not covered by the insurance policy agreed upon by the organizer and participants, participants will be personally liable for their own medical expenses.
10. Competition Rules
(1) The age group for all categories varies in the range of 5 years.
(2) With the exception of ‘Combined Age’ and ‘Young Adult’ and ‘Senior’ and ‘Honor Senior’, all categories will have a Men’s Single, Men’s Double, Women’s Single, Women’s Double, Mixed Double, and Husband and Wife Double (husband’s age will be the deciding factor)
(3) The system for scoring used for each game is “The Rally Point System”. Each game has a maximum score of 31 points. If both teams scored 30 points, no deuce will be considered. The team reaching thirty one points first wins. Players will change sides when 16 points have been reached.
(4) If a team wishes to change the shuttlecock during the game, both teams must agree on it. The referee will decide if an agreement cannot be reached.
(5) If a player show ups later than 15 minutes for each game, players shall be automatically disqualified. For players who are scheduled to start a new game immediately after finishing one, players shall be allowed a 15 minute rest.
(6) There will be no award-giving ceremony for this competition. Awards are given to the first 3 places only. Winners of the first 3 places must report to the assigned area within 15 minutes after the game.
(7) If found two sides won the same numbers of games in group round robin, the winner goes to who own more total points, and by analogy.
11. The shuttlecock for using in the competition: Astec 5000
12. Awards are given to the first 3 places only. Any group with fewer than 7 players may only be eligible to receive fewer than 3 awards.
13. The Application and Registration
1) Submit entry list : Including name and age of players , size of shirt , categories and items. Please download the application form at www.fycbadmintonclub.com and send it back between1 Aug – 15 Oct 2015. Please download the registration form on www.fycbadmintonclub.com.
2) Check and modify the list on the website www.fycbadmintonclub.com during 16- 25 Oct 2014.
3) Registration fee for 20 USD or 600 Baht each.(Including a souvenir, insurance, service charge of transfer between official hotel and competition stadium, a dinner party for foreigner who has registered and get the ticket.)
4) The meeting of team leaders and couches will be held on 12 Nov 2015 4:00 pm.
5) The dinner party will be held on 15 Nov 2015. Participants should apply for registration to the
Organizing Committee in advance.
14. Each team and player are responsible the cost of traffic, food, accommodation and medical treatment.
